Discover your Guided tour
Children aged 6 and over can come and discover the museum with a 2-hour activity including a fun tour of the collections, followed by an art workshop, all supervised by a tour guide.
On Saturday, February 22nd and on Thursday, May 1st at 10:00 am, join the exciting activity entitled “Monsters in the Museum”.
The museum is full of zany objects and twisted shapes... Meet these fabulous and wonderful monsters in this fun activity led by one of our museum guide. Then take inspiration from these works to model your own monster in clay. Will it be gentle or monstrous? The choice is yours! Disguises are welcome, and we look forward to seeing you in your best monster costumes!
On Friday, February 26th and on Saturday, April 12th at 10:00 a.m., discover the museum in a different way by taking part in the guided activity “My funny paper animals”.
After observing the works in the exhibition “Catherine Bernis, Worlds of paper and porcelain", children are invited to use their imagination to create a funny animal. Like the artist herself, several materials can be used at the same time, such as paper and porcelain, to create a play of textures!
On Saturday, March 8th at 10 a.m., the museum invites you to take part in the activity "A small vase with ceramist Marie Mora". Accompanied by a museum guide, ceramist Marie Mora welcomes children for a unique experience in contact with ceramics! First, children discover the marine animals that live in the museum. They'll then head off to the workshop to create a small vase featuring marine animals, working with the artist to discover the technique of transferring images onto ceramic. Productions can be collected from the museum a few weeks after the activity.
[This tour is limited to 8 participants]
On Wednesday, March 5th and April 23rd at 10 a.m., take part in the “Ceramic dragon” guided tour. At the heart of the collections lie fantastic dragons, ready to breathe fire and spread their wings to soar among the clouds! Enjoy a fun activity to identify them, then, on a porcelain plate, make your own dragon of feathers, colors and scales.
On Saturday, April 26th at 10 a.m., book your tickets for the guided activity “Porcelain duck workshop with designer and creator Anthony Bortoluzzi". This year, celebrate 100 years of Art Deco by creating a colorful duck in porcelain! In the museum collections, you will be able to take inspiration from the colorful animals Marcel Sandoz imagined for the Théodore Haviland factory. Then, follow designer Anthony Bortoluzzi's expert advice in the workshop to experiment with all the steps involved in making a porcelain duck! Productions can be collected from the museum a few weeks after the activity.
Each visit is limited to 12 participants. Reservations are recommended.
