On Saturday, February 22nd at 2:30pm, meet Florence Disson, curator, for a guided tour entitled “The history of costume”. Are you fascinated by costumes? Then this unique tour is for you! Through a selection of works, discover the captivating history of the basket dress and the corset, as well as their representation in ceramics, in the company of a guide and Florence Disson, curator.
On Saturday, March 29th at 2.30pm, join us for a guided tour of “When frescoes and paintings inspire ceramics”. What links are there between the great masters of the Italian Renaissance, the still-life painters of the 18th century and the famous Impressionist artists? They all inspired works at the museum! Come and find out with this new thematic tour.
On Saturday, April 12th and Sunday, June 8th at 2.30pm, join us for a guided tour of “100 years of Art Deco”.
The International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts celebrates its 100th anniversary this year: 1925-2025! This event marks the birth of Art Deco, an artistic movement that marked the 20th century and continues to inspire artists today. Follow the movement and discover its history through the masterpieces from this period preserved at the museum.

On Sunday, May 4th at 2:30 pm, in partnership with the Limoges Opera, come to the museum for the “Carte blanche to Théophile Alexandre” guided tour. Ahead of the performances of The Breasts of Tiresias at the Limoges Opera, the museum is giving carte blanche to director Théophile Alexandre, who will reveal his vision of Francis Poulenc's opera through a selection of works from the collections. Discover this surrealistic drama brimming with humor, which lyrically and fancifully rethinks the place and role we accord to women, beyond that of motherhood.
Reservations are recommended. Places are limited to 20 participants.

Visitors who are normally entitled to free admission need only purchase the “Single rate” ticket.
Admission to the museum is free for all on the first Sunday of every month.
The museum is also free for visitors under the age of 26, working teachers, group leaders, artists and authors, jobseekers and recipients of minimum social benefits upon presentation of proof dated no more than 6 months previously.
