Explore the world of the famous couturier Yves Saint Laurent in a privileged way during this group tour with speaking rights.
Following its presentation at the Yves Saint Laurent museum in Marrakech, and for the first time in association with the museum in Paris, you can discover the temporary exhibition: Sheer: The diaphanous creations of Yves Saint Laurent. Organised around some thirty silhouettes and drawings, the exhibition retraces the designer's attachment to nature and his environment. Surrounded by flowers and gardens, whether in his residences, his flats or the headquarters of his haute couture house, he never ceased to integrate them into his work.
The couturier made a major contribution to the tradition of haute couture by blending flowers into the star pieces of his collections, and you'll find them in 4 major themes structuring the exhibition. During his forty years of design, he used a wide range of techniques to incorporate his natural elements: embroidered, printed or combined with taffeta (in homage to Christian Dior). These interplay of volumes and materials, so dear to Yves Saint Laurent, will be presented throughout the exhibition.
